@ValerieJae147@DisastroMan yeah, thats understandable. i guess i have a bit of a personal vendetta surrounding run for your life, which isnt really surprising considering the content of the lyrics
@ValerieJae147@DisastroMan maybe rubber soul was an overall more enjoyable listening experience to the average listener, but the entire album combined doesnt even come close to eleanor rigby, here there and everywhere, or tomorrow never knows
@ValerieJae147@DisastroMan right. even what i consider comparatively "weak" on revolver (good day sunshine, dr robert) come nothing close to the colossal artistic mistake that leaving run for your life on rubber soul was.
@firstltmartin sorry, was not trying to argue! just autistic lol. i dont necessarily agree or disagree with rumors (which i consider the paul/brian excerpt to be one of), and was just stating what i knew
@firstltmartin which was a pretty good substitute for gay marriage considering where the bar was at the time, and that it wouldnt be actually legalized until another 50 years or so. and, yeah, rumours about bj's under the desk ot whatever were pretty standard, but who can ever know?
@firstltmartin it was very much more pg than "seducing" or even "flirting" with them most of the time. managers would buy them chinese food and get them record deals, and musicians would say please and thank you and, well, be binded by a 5-year contract.
