@BallinFil It's also worth checking for 'insertion loss' just placing a pop-up in the website can cause.

Seen pop-ups cause visitors to bounce out, and cut conversions. Particular example, the rude "no thanks - I don't like saving money" variety.

@BallinFil Worth noting if poor email design means the whole email is mostly images wrapped in anchor tags, the chances are a good number of the clicks happened accidentally on mobile during swipe up/down and have zero commercial value.

@TheDanielFilipe Loads of reasons - but here's 3. Quality of data, sharing of voucher codes on discount websites, discounts being a super-lame race to the bottom to get people on your list.

The purpose of the pop up is to drive good quality email list growth, not a database full of bad emails.
