@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group@WimbledonNews Any logical reason why the flat bins are put out on a Friday for a Monday lunchtime collection? Hazardous, dangerous, looks & smells great in this weather. If a car blocked the pavement £60 fine, won’t hold my breath for a reply, bet my service charge bill arrives first #braindead
@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group@WimbledonNews Are you all happy for the residents who aren’t scumbags and don’t fly tip on a daily basis to pay for the constant clean up? It’s absolutely disgusting, dangerous and a health hazard. Glass, paint and who knows what else everywhere. Like most decision makers you’re all useless
@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group Lastly, a “bulky waste service” that everyone pays for, is that referring to the massive amounts of large disgusting waste at multiple areas around the estate, certainly not outside their own homes, during the middle of the night ??.
@Merton_Council@RPLibDems@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group when is something going to be done about the disgusting fly tipping and waste problem on carters or do we just have to live in this filth for good now while you charge us extra for the privilege ? This is just one area
@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group Creating parking free parking spaces for non residents, commuters and local businesses outside West Wimbledon school is a big issue as it creates a prime tipping site for people to empty their vans or cars at the end of the day.
@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group All those images, and there’s many more, are of fly tipping from work on residents homes. Not hard to work out which ones as they’re about 2 feet from or on the same road as the properties with new roofs or drives.
@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group I agree, it always has been. I’m not here to put it on clarion or the council, the issue lies with the people putting the waste out. And as mentioned it’s always done at night, they know it’s wrong
@MJ_Willis@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group Funnily enough no fly tipping on the 100 yards where theres a dozen cameras !It’s every area and since the eyesore & health hazard of the bins have been inexplicably placed outside. A boiler & other building waste by the school have been there weeks. Workers were doing it today
@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group So no prevention rather than cure ? People need educating and fines. The fact fly tipping clearance is needed twice a week shows how bad it is.3 of the photos show waste from works on properties by workman. It’s become the norm. Would you have it outside your house everyday ??
@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group It’s everywhere there is an outside https://t.co/DOnU7OeNpL’s clothes, mattresses, furniture, paint and more. The cleaners do their work but some people don’t care if they live in filth and no one is being fined for it. We just pay for it in our service charges
@RPLibDems@Merton_Council@MertonLabour@Clarion_Group There’s been fines outside Waitrose because there are cameras an active social media platform to find the culprits and very clear signage. Having just this one, likewise with the resident parking one, does nothing. It’s always done during the night as people know it’s illegal
