2018: NDP cancels bridge plans already approved
2018-2021: NDP spends years reviewing alternatives.
2021: NDP announces a new 8-lane tunnel instead.
2024: NDP Selects a contractor to design and build the project.
2026: Still no tunnel construction. NDP Government terminates the contractor.
A masterclass in incompetence. 9 years later, same tunnel. https://t.co/yju4Ujx22v
This is funny! 🤣
I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 60 years later. I don't have to go to school or work. I get an allowance every month. I have my own pad. I don't have a curfew. I have a driver's license and my own car. The people I hang around with are not scared of getting pregnant and I don't have acne.
Life is great. I changed my car horn to gunshot sounds. People get out of the way much faster now.
Gone are the days when girls used to cook like their mothers. Now they drink like their fathers.
I didn't make it to the gym today. That makes five years in a row.
I decided to stop calling the bathroom "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
When I was a child I thought "nap time" was a punishment. Now it feels like a small vacation.
The biggest lie I tell myself is... " I don't have to write that down, I'll remember it".
If God wanted me to touch my toes, He would've put them on my knees.
Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators. We haven't met yet.
Why do I have to press one for English when you're just going to transfer me to someone I can't understand anyway?
Of course, I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice.
At my age "Getting Lucky" means walking into a room and remembering what I came In there for.
The NDP is underestimating me.
They think they can dismiss experience, dismiss credentials, and dismiss someone who has actually delivered results in government. They are wrong.
I served as a Cabinet Minister under Prime Minister Stephen Harper, where I helped cut taxes and return the country to surplus. I was Chief Opposition Whip under Pierre Poilievre, the first woman to hold the role, uniting and leading a large national caucus. As a King’s Counsel, I fought and won at the Supreme Court of Canada to protect property rights for families.
These experiences have prepared me to lead with competence and resolve. British Columbians do not need more NDP failures, higher taxes, and rising crime. They need lower taxes, safer communities, protected property rights, and a government that works for them.
I am ready. The NDP should not underestimate what is coming.
Increíble cómo se aprecia el "flex" de las alas del Dreamliner. Me gusta mucho más esta pintura que la anterior "color menta" 😍 787 Dreamliner de Air Canada. Despegue hacia Toronto🇨🇦
🚨 BREAKING:
The Air Canada CEO just “retired.”
Not because of years of Official Languages violations.
Not because of record complaints to the Commissioner.
Not because his airline has been fined over and over for failing to serve Canadians in French.
Because he posted a condolence video
IN ENGLISH,
after 2 of his pilots died.
Parliament summoned him.
Quebec's Premier demanded his resignation.
And this was driven by Liberals, who are desperate to make sure they win Terrebonne.
They don’t care about the dead pilots.
They care about winning.
Two pilots are dead. A
fire truck with no transponder was on an active runway.
One controller was doing two jobs!
NO ONE got summoned over that.
But the language of a grief video?
CAREER OVER.
This country has lost the plot.
Only in Canada could there be more stories on the Air Canada CEO's lack of French than on causes of the collision at LaGuardia that killed two pilots and injured dozens more.
Imagine you’re the CEO of Air Canada….
….sleepless and dealing with a brutal tragedy in real time with vast US and Canadian media coverage - and your PM decides to hit you with a cheap shot saying you lack ‘compassion’ because you lack excellent French language skills.
But you’re the CEO of a regulated industry so he knows you can’t punch back. Even though his own French is carefully stage-managed. And the Governor General can barely speak it.
The PM chose to use a national tragedy to score marginal political points with the Quebec language police.
Tone deaf and gross.
Je veux dire, c'est grotesque et d'une insensibilité totale.
(1/4) Following consultation with the Government of Canada and Mexican authorities, we will resume full operations from Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver to Puerto Vallarta on Tuesday, February 24. Operations from Toronto to Guadalajara will resume on Feb. 25.
There are no words – only heavy hearts.
The Humboldt Broncos extend our deepest condolences to the Southern Alberta Mustangs organization and to all those impacted by today’s tragedy.
We stand with you. We mourn with you. We are with you.
Please take a moment today to remember 🇨🇦 Gunner Sebastian Halmagean, a young Canadian soldier who died while serving on Operation Reassurance in Latvia.
His father has shared how immensely proud his son was to wear the uniform and serve Canada, and I know all Albertans join me in holding his family, friends and fellow soldiers in our hearts during this terrible loss.
