@Al_Mc72 I doubt there is a memory card big enough capacity to save all the law breaking by cyclists. In KUH, I regularly see 2/3rds of cyclists flouting the few laws regarding them, many times having to swerve away from 'ninja' cyclists during the hrs of darkness!

That 'cycle path' looks more like the effects of a hoard of entitled lycra-clad eco-warriors deciding to ride off-footpath and to heck with everything, and everyone, else!

You do receive a letter from the DVLA stating your VED payment for the coming year? Whatever the amount, you have to pay it, even if it's nothing!

Road Tax, yes the Tax a driver MUST pay to legally use their vehicle on the Road (call it Archibald if you must), goes into the govt coffers, as I already stated

@Gaylussite How many of those cars are the direct cause of the collision? Did the car suddenly veer into the middle of the road from the middle of the road, or were the pedestrians in the middle of the road, which is not the natural place to walk.

@copseworker @theJeremyVine Ok, answer this then, Mr Smarty pants. If a 6L vehicle I'd used solely on a private estate, how much VED does it pay? If that same 6L vehicle sat on the road, never being driven, how much emissions would it emit?
