中国で子猫を地面に落として遊ぶ子どもたちの映像が、
親が笑いながら撮影しSNSに投稿した、として拡散している。

こうした行為は、幼い命を玩具扱いするもので、明確な動物虐待だ。子猫は骨が細く脆く、地面への衝撃で骨折や内臓損傷、死に至る危険が極めて高い。

親の姿勢の問題

親がそれを「遊び」として笑い、公開する姿勢は、子どもに「弱い者を虐げるのは楽しい」と教えるに等しい。

命の尊厳を軽視する価値観を家庭で植え付けている可能性が高く、看過できない。

過去の類似事例

中国では、他にも、子どもが子猫を地面に投げつけたり振り回したりして死なせる事例が複数報じられている。

ペット店前で幼猫を地面に叩きつけて死亡させたケースや、子猫を複数回地面に叩きつけて殺した事件も確認されている。

中国では動物虐待に対する罰則が弱い法環境が背景にあるとの指摘もあるが、それだけの問題なのだろうか？

The needless cruelty & torture that has been inflicted on cats & dogs in China in recent years has been the most grotesque and sadistic level of animal cruelty that you'll ever see. To make cats & dogs suffer and die for amusement and profit through sharing videos of it on social media is completely barbaric and appeals to the absolute WORST traits of humankind, and the outrageous aspect of it is the corrupt & evil Chinese government plays a major part in protecting these abusers (like those that killed WangWang & her pups) and has now CENSORED their own citizens in China about speaking about Wangwang or protesting against animal cruelty in any way!

We must fight back against China. This cruelty cannot be allowed to continue to fester and spread to other nations, otherwise societies themselves will become even more corrupt and devoid of any sense of empathy or morality. Dogs and cats were domesticated by humans thousands of years ago to eventually become companion animals for people. Those who have owned dogs or cats know they are living creatures that show love and feel emotions like we do, they are loyal to us in our times of need and comfort, and were never meant to be reduced to the sadistic mockery that Chinese monsters have made of them in China.

Do whatever you can to fight back. Boycott Chinese products, sign & share petitions, email politicians, protest in front of Chinese embassies or other large public places, inform the world about this. Many nations around the world have activists that are fighting back and informing the public. CALL FOR CHINA TO ENACT LAWS AGAINST ANIMAL CRUELTY that protect cats and dogs from this horror! Keep pushing! Change doesn't happen overnight. We need all the support we can get!
