This is so urgent because the new regulation will not shut down any Medi-Cal applicants prior to 1/1/26, they will remain eligible, but for cost-cutting reasons CA is limiting Medi-Cal assistance for (most) undocumented immigrants who apply after 2025 to emergency services only.

If you live in California and you have any way to reach out to undocumented immigrants who are not currently enrolled in Medi-Cal, please reach out to them or to organizations who can because as of 12/31/25 most undocumented adults will lose the chance to apply.
