Unless of course that's exactly why. Looking forward to hearing what really happened to force out a strong young candidate in the former Premier's riding, when tonnes of Toronto ridings still don't have candidates.
This ignores a bunch of very impressive endorsements from health, climate, and #lpc leaders. Hard to figure out what could possibly be behind a decision to force this guy out. Why wouldn't an #OLP leader still trying to break out want a strong team?

@Geoff_Sharpe@daviddoel He's saying if Bernie were running away with the nomination, he would speak out against him. He's not saying he'd oppose him were he the nominee (and his staffer's statement was the opposite).
Maybe he just thinks Bernie will lose - the article doesn't say why he feels that way.
Actually, Canada's far right party is ahead in 121 seats. Andrew Scheer's #CPC denies climate change, is anti-queer, anti-woman, anti-immigrany, and anti-poor. Maxime was a sideshow. Scheer's views are in no way mainstream. #cdnpoli#elxn43
Some of us remember when Jack Layton teamed up with Stephen Harper to bring down Paul Martin’s government, ending the national childcare agreements that had signed and the Kelowna Accords.
