The future of Ghana's economy will be shaped by the strength and innovation of its Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises growing into large industries. This conviction was at the heart of our commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of MSME Day, where the Ghana Enterprises Agency had the privilege of welcoming members of the diplomatic corps, development partners and entrepreneurs from across the country to celebrate the remarkable contribution of MSMEs to national development. The theme, "Elevating the Future Generation of Ghana's MSMEs through Digital Empowerment and Innovation,"speaks to the direction we must pursue as an institution. It was therefore especially gratifying to launch a transformative digital solution, the MSME Digital Gateway, developed in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). This platform represents an important step towards improving access to information, markets and business support services for entrepreneurs across Ghana. As we mark this milestone, I remain confident that through purposeful collaboration, innovation and sustained investment in our MSMEs, we can build enterprises that are more competitive and better positioned to seize opportunities within Ghana, across Africa and beyond. I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Ghana Export-Import Bank (Ghana EXIM Bank), MTN Ghana, MTN Mobile Money (MoMo), the E4Impact Foundation, the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), Ecobank Ghana PLC, Stanbic Bank Ghana, the European Union (EU), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for their invaluable partnership and continued commitment to strengthening Ghana's MSME ecosystem. My gratitude also goes to the Government of Ghana and every stakeholder whose unwavering support continues to transform the aspirations of Ghanaian entrepreneurs into lasting economic impact. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA
