@velobetty I fear the greater challenge might be getting fuel in the South, assuming you are starting from London…I’d hope the hire car will be ’full’ but I spoke to someone a couple of days ago who wanted to hire a car and he was told they could not ‘guarantee’ a full tank…
@honorelliott_@TLRailUK On a just relatable theme. Just been to Brighton for weekend. Wanted to use train. Station 5 mins walk from my house. Direct to Gatwick then change for Brighton. Return for two? £65. Driving? Fuel £15, 24hr parking £21, travel at time of choice. I cycle and use train a lot…but…
Fancy riding a three week ‘Tour’? Have a look here… https://t.co/AlDHoduMc3 . I completed this ride in 2019. It was a very well organised trip and the support during the ride was excellent. #letour#tourdefrance#cycling#france
Let’s face it, if you don’t finish the season off with a Hill Climb can you truly call yourself a cyclist?
Only 1 week left to get your entries in.

@BecCyclingClub Up! Up! Up! An essential event. Great atmosphere & brilliantly organised. I recall riding it six times, on a variety of bikes, between 2006 & 2011. Always a great send off at the start & a warm welcome at the top! Go watch if not riding. Hope you have a great day @BecCyclingClub
@GeraintThomas86 Near misses?...It’s always the squirrels...those little bu**ers can never make up their mind which way to go when they run out on front of you....
@CycleRandR It might strengthen drivers argument that cyclists should also be charged for using roads as drivers will be paying directly, rather than indirectly. There would need to be a clear exemption for cyclists to avoid ambiguity. @Chris_Boardman ?
@BecCyclingClub So sorry to hear this, but inevitable. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder...so what is already an excellent and key annual event will be even more so next year...
