Fruit spoils; that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t eat it when it’s ripe. Sex ends; that doesn’t mean that we can’t seek more. Hunger returns after we eat; that doesn’t mean we don’t eat again. We get tired after we sleep; that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t awake.
Being in process is better than being done. Being done is to stand on a pedestal as a statute. Being in process is to dance and grow. Make movement your being.
All the energy in the world burst forth at once. It changes and flows, but never dies. That energy is in us. Our bodies are likewise made from the matter of the world. We are part of the universe.
A life of intensity is not realized through toil. Neither is it realized through suffering and pain. Toil, suffering, and pain are intense, but they burn us. A life lived on one’s own terms and by one’s own insight makes us bright.
