Wow — how on-topic for this week’s lesson! This note popped in at the top of my feed. Great to know there is an element of customization when it comes to the control of the ads we see on Twitter #COMP9604
#COMP9604 I don’t mind targeted ads at all, and even welcome them when I feel as though they benefit my habits online. For example, an ad promoting a sale at an online retailer that I have visited in the past ~7 days is something I will likely take advantage of! @gmederos
When measuring the mentions, I would count a negative RT. Only including positive-natured interactions would be biased. That person is still interacting with your brand & it can be useful to recognize these interactions when strategizing for future approaches. #COMP9604@gmederos
Tweetdeck is my favourite management tool for many reasons. The intuitive, all-in-one UI and (so far) faultless integration with my account keeps me hooked. I've been using it for a while now! #COMP9604@gmederos
@denisetweetsTO@CMIContent Whew, that's a hard one! I think the best advice I received was to be versatile. Learning a lot of skills, from marketing to SEO to design to leadership, was essential to founding a successful company. #CMWorld
A7, pt. 2: I would also add that learning to code will be highly beneficial to aid in #design of #interactivecontent. And check out @Webflow — it's an amazing tool to create great interactive experiences without code knowledge, and will help you learn code as you go! #CMWorld
A7, pt. 1: I always send them to @TheWebbyAwards first. They always showcase the best interactive trends. I also always suggest @LI_Learning for any creative career growth. They have the best courses by far! #CMWorld
Q7: A recent college grad or young professional asks you for advice on interactive content - what book, person, or example do you immediately send them to? #CMWorld
@CMIContent A5: I believe content is key when it comes to utilizing video. Presenting something that feels accessible, and relatable, to an audience (reflecting their day-to-day, for example) is proving to be extremely engaging.
"Breaking up text-heavy white papers" is *exactly* why I love infographics. I find them to be an extremely beneficial device for delivering presentations especially. #CMWorld
@CMIContent A3, pt. 2: Infographics today see great success in PPT design. They're also used to tease gated content and break up text-heavy whitepapers, and interactive #infographics are in high demand. Mini-infographics sized for social media are driving great success as well. #CMWorld
@CMIContent A1: Interaction and real-time engagement with brands is something I sincerely appreciate -- however, when this is paired with effective static content it's often much more satisfying! Synergy! #CMWorld
A1: Yes there is, but not at the top of the funnel. People will take the time to read content that matters to them. But to ensure they know that your content matters, you have to first hook them with quality visual media at least a few times before pushing too much text. #CMWorld
