@British_Airways 2nd consecutive flight with a major issue. First a last min cancellation after 3 hrs on the tarmac with twins. Now it’s a 2 hr delay last min (also with twins). Still zero notification other than the boards. Could have stayed home. Don’t know why I bother with BA

@HandofArsenal Context is important, but there’s no room for excuses. The margins for winning the PL are razor thin, and the 3 points were ours to take. All we needed were fresh legs. I am more concerned at Arteta’s continued failure to learn how to make the right subs, and his load management.

@AFCAMDEN @MAA_Gunner It would be easier to take if it wasn’t completely avoidable. It was so obvious fresh legs were needed. Inexplicable to just bring on Mosquera. No one is telling me Hincapie, Norgaard, Ethan and Benny wouldn’t have seen the game out. Can’t be dropping points in these positions.

Epic failure of service from @British_Airways LHR to Dubai with partner and exhausted twin babies.

2.5 hours on the tarmac, cancelled flight, rebooked on 12hr connecting journey next day, crew lost baby buggy after taking at plane door, next day: “We have no idea where it is”.

Ethan gets plenty of minutes. He’s 18. Needs space to develop. Should back up Odegaard mostly.

Noni also gets time on RW and LW. Saka and LW need rotation.

I think Eze will mostly start LW and rotate LCM.

@Rayyan_AFC @fkhanage He’s obviously correct. When the total quantity of goals conceded is relatively low, each additional goal is disproportionately high as a percentage. A misleading stat. Not the first we���ve seen this sort of nonsense analysis from Sky either.

His role as the CF here isn’t to bang in millions of goals. It’s to enable other players to score. Like Firmino in the OP. We don’t have those players.

Pool have only scored 7 more goals than us this season. Last season we scored our most ever goals. Kai up top.

Look at how City are doing with Haaland this season.

He was bought as an attacking midfielder. Converted to essentially a false 9. His G/A production is still top 6 in the league. Put a goalscoring winger on the left side like Saka and it’s a different conversation.

Yes, football is mad, but anyone truly successful in business will tell you that recruitment is priority number one.

No result this window speaks to poor planning over the last 6-12 months (i.e. no real pipeline), and a lack of leadership (i.e. Edu).

@DarrenArsenal1 @TomCantonMedia Serious question. Can someone post some actual statistics on this about Havertz compared to the other strikers in the league. Shot conversion %, goals vs xG etc.

Very easy to say “oh he misses loads” but without objective comparison it’s meaningless.

1. Far from all these have been “failures”. Zinchenko, Havertz, Jesus, Ramsdale, Kiwior, Merino, Jorginho have all done a job (or better) according to their role and circumstances.
2. It fails to compare the relative performance of other clubs’ transfers.
