Special Police Constables who volunteer their free time to work in the #SWBCU received a Borough Commander’s Commendation this month.
The officers received the award after they dealt with a difficult call involving the unfortunate suicide of a local resident.

Special Constables #SWBCU received a Borough Commander’s Commendation.They were awarded for arresting a male who failed to stop he was detained & arrested for assaulting an emergency worker, criminal damage, driving offences and possession of drugs with the intent to supply.

He's taken 2 new officers on their 1st duties this week & got them both their 1st arrest, shoplifting & disqualified driver. AMAZING!

#SouthWestBCU is busy today with a fantastic turn out of 35 Specials. All ranks working today 1 Special Chief Inspector 3 Special Inspectors 8 Special Sergeants and 23 Special Constable’s. Various duties today Neighbourhoods, Response, Proactive Team and Coached Patrols.
