From the longs rains NCPB distribution report below here ,Uasin-Gishu has received 413,103 bags of subsidized fertilizer while kiambu has got only 1,160 so far.The Central region seems to be forgotten.
From the look of things ,Looks like the new rain makers in town predicted that long rains will only rain in Liftivaale.
I task anybody who cares to understand the production curve and capacity of the central highlands to refer to the CEREB report 2024 and advise the Mongrel administration accordingly.
The beauty is,with or without the fertilizer this region feeds the nation.

Earlier today I joined the family & friends of Maumau heroine Mama Agnes Muthoni Kinyua aka Major Gachefu during her sendoff ceremony at Kilimanjaro,Shamata Ward,Nyandarua County.

From her long life we learnt that sacrifice and commitment are key in fighting against retrogressive policies and bad leadership.

May the Lord rest her soul in Eternal Peace.

This morning Purity Kendi Gitonga from Laikipia County called on me at my Wamunyoro Residence.

Purity is a young leader from Laikipia County and it was interesting to hear her articulate the various challenges facing the people of Laikipia, and her ideas on how to solve some of those challenges.

We also had an opportunity to discuss the role of young people at local and national level, and the kind of support structures that would help these emerging leaders stand out as we head into the next elective cycle, which many people will start preparing for this year.

I am proud to see such zeal in our young people and I assure them that I will continue to help them wherever I can.

This evening, Peter Wambugu from Kasarani, Nairobi County (also known as Pemwa), came by to see me at our Wamunyoro Residence.

Peter is a leading businessman with interests in various sectors and has been very committed in various activities we have been involved in.

We discussed various issues, including the challenges the people of Nairobi are facing, especially during the recent holiday season. He also shared his views in regard to the politics of the day and what options are available, as we head into the new year.

A few weeks ago a criminal gang very openly supported by the police attacked mourners at a Funeral Service I was attending in Limuru. Despite the pictures of the attackers being splashed all over, not a single criminal has been arrested to-date.

Today at a Thanksgiving Prayer Service at Shamata in Nyandarua scores of police officers were deployed purportedly to provide security. However and without any provocation whatsoever a uniformed Inspector of Police gave a teargas canister to an officer in plain clothes to throw into vip tent, causing panic and commotion. This was despite the fact that the prayers were peaceful and everyone was calm.

I want to acknowledge the resilience and courage of everyone who attended this event for ensuring that despite this attack by the police the prayers continued to their focal conclusion.

I also want to thank the residents of Shamata for taking charge of the meeting and escorting the attackers out of the meeting, while providing security to the women and children present at the function, as well as the leaders who were present.

But it is yet another moment of great shame to our National Police Service who are already disgraced for carrying out illegal abductions and extrajudicial killings of our children. Why do you allow yourselves to be used for political purposes?

To President Ruto. No amount of intimidation or violence will stop the Kenyan people from criticizing you, demanding for good governance and accountability, or asking you to respect democracy and the rule of law.
