Fantastic to see the commission I did for @NFU_Poultry on the cover of their latest magazine. The brief was feeds, input and renewables. It is three separate feathers, all hand carved and mounted into one picture.
The Burning Ambition exhibition ends at the end of Bank Holiday Monday. We have been touched and overwhelmed by the reaction. After two years of working on this project, it is wonderful to see it validated by such a positive reaction by the public. Thank you one and all
The Burning Ambition exhibition is dedicated to Robin Crawford, Consultant Oncologist at Addenbrooke’s, and the incredible team at @CUH_NHS for all the support and care they gave to Kate Denton https://t.co/I5ZXtUtPXz

A huge thank you to Russell Hudson @rph60, Tosh Hudson and Simon Livingstone at Livingstone Art Founders (https://t.co/bzGkp3DbUD) for all their skill in bringing Kate Denton’s sculptures to realisation. Some of the casting techniques have been truly cutting edge.
'Grief is a Thing with Feathers'...The moment Icarus finally hits the ground as included in Burning Ambition exhibition by @katedenton, which runs until 28th May. Modelled using real feathers that have been individually cast into bronze. Title from book by Max Porter
Visited the Burning Ambition exhibition by Kate Denton, a local Lavenham artist, this afternoon - such amazing artwork and sculpture, all dedicated to the story of Icarus @dentonsculpture#interiors#exteriors#interiordesigner
Among the incredible works of art in our Burning Ambition exhibition is “Dare to Dream”, a striking 2.9metre high sculpture, seemingly falling forward while balancing on the figure’s toes. At the other end of the spectrum there are unframed prints available for £150.
'Terra Firma'... One of our favourites from the Burning Ambition exhibition by @katedenton, running at Lavenham Hall Gallery until 28th May. The impossibly beautiful figure bestrides his gold leafed globe–man being master of all he surveys.
Our Burning Ambition exhibition includes 16 new bronze sculpture and 21 drawings dedicated to the story of Icarus. It will be held 30 years after Kate’s first ever Icarus drawing! #sculptures#art#gallery#drawing#lavenham#icarus#exhibition

We would love to see you all before the exhibition closes on Monday 28th May
@dentonsculpture is delighted to be hosting Kate Denton’s most ambitious – and personal - exhibition to date. Burning Ambition depicts the story of Icarus through sculpture, lithographs and drawings and what this tells us about what it means to be human #sculptures#art
Burning Ambition is the culmination of Kate’s 30-year fascination with the well-known Icarus myth. The exhibition runs at Lavenham Hall Gallery until 28th May. For more information visit https://t.co/beqxcaRoVq #sculptures#art#gallery#drawing#exhibition

Kate Denton’s Icarus-inspired Burning Ambition exhibition puts the spotlight on both human frailties and strengths, their arrogance and carelessness, the beauty of their bodies and their innate spirit https://t.co/RcABcHs09S

“Hommage to Frink” – from the Burning Ambition exhibition by @katedenton at the Lavenham Hall Gallery from 12th-28th May. Dame Elizabeth Frink, who was also based in East Anglia, has been a huge influence on Kate.
