#MañaneraDelPueblo El 1 de abril, la empresa Totalplay anunció cambios en sus planes de Internet, implementando servicio simétrico y cargos adicionales por exceder el límite de datos. Ante esta situación, las personas consumidoras expresaron su inconformidad y, derivado de ello, la Profeco recordó a la empresa que la Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor señala que el proveedor está obligado a informar y respetar los precios, tarifas, garantías y demás condiciones conforme a las cuales se ofreció el servicio. El 3 de abril, posterior a una reunión, se acordó lo siguiente:

1. Las personas que no estén de acuerdo con el nuevo plan deben continuar con el contrato original, o bien, cancelar sin penalización.

2. Quienes acepten el Internet simétrico tienen que dar su autorización expresa.

3. Ante la reventa del servicio de Totalplay, en el contrato registrado ante la Profeco se menciona que éste se puede rescindir a quienes hagan uso ilegal de sus servicios.
