I don't think all of this happened within 2 days. Highly improbable.

My theory is that this was pre-planned by the genius that @satyanadella is. @OpenAI as a non-profit was never going to give the returns that Satya/Microsoft would've wanted.

If he tried to do this without getting @sama first fired by the @OpenAI board, it would've been indefensible PR wise.

Getting the board to fire Sam and then getting him onboard makes both Sam and Satya look like heroes.

Genius move by Satya/Sam and a massive win for @Microsoft. Exciting times ahead.
