I get that. But my point is that the definition and application of AI in 2016 was entirely different. What they showed Miyazaki was just a 3D model learning physically simulated movement which is basically procedural animation. Conflating that with modern generative AI is a huge stretch.
@jordandchesney Spot on. Personally, the novelty of AI videos has totally worn off for me. I've stopped staring at them just because they're AI. I'm searching for a real story and some depth.
