KaCyber Selected for MTIC Acceleration Program to Fuel Regional Growth
KaCyber Technologies has been selected to join the second cohort of the MTIC Accelerator Program for Growth-Stage Startups in Uganda. The announcement of the selected growth startups was made this week at the National ICT Innovation Hub in Nakawa.
This three-month program, an initiative of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (MTIC) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is implemented by Hindsight Ventures. It is designed to support Ugandan startups that are expanding regionally and preparing for future investment, with a focus on strengthening business strategy, scaling into new markets, and becoming investment ready.
KaCyber Technologies was chosen for the Mobility and Fintech Track and is one of only 10 startups selected from across Uganda in sectors including FinTech, ICT, Mobility, and Consumer Services. The program will provide participants with business development support, market expansion guidance, and direct investor connections.
"Our selection into the MTIC Accelerator is a significant milestone in our mission to build technology that simplifies life, driving digital transformation within Uganda's mobility ecosystem," said Innocent Orikiiriza, CEO of KaCyber.
