You missed the part where he has been officially declared guilty, just not being sentenced.
So he still has a criminal record and is very unlikely to be able to ever return to the USA
Jom and Jake have explicitly said on this show they dislike the Rays and that’s fine considering they support an inter-division team.
But you’ve got to put that aside when doing a whole MLB podcast for it to work. So glad Trev provides a bit of balance.
@benwhitelaw73@Desmondt813 Idk if it’s anecdotal but lazy analysis definitely feels more prevalent this year. It might be because the Rays are good and most Twitter people hate that so need to find narratives idk
Junior Caminero’s 13th HR of the season is a 105.8 MPH EV, 380 FT opposite field shot.
He already had a 116.8 MPH EV earlier in the game and is now posting a 138 wRC+ over his 200 PAs.
This may very well be bait but I also know a lot of people put genuine stock in Run Differential and xW-L.
I don’t have time to write a thread today about it but I’ll make my case on the pod tomorrow as to why I believe it’s not worth much & and how you can read stats better
People only care about this stat when they have a narrative to push. It has been proven to be amongst the weakest statistically significant stats. Run differential on the other hand..
Jays fans acting like they’ve done ANYTHING other than last year when the Rays have had more playoff and WS appearances AND hundreds of more wins since for the past 20 years is embarrassing
