ਜਲ ਸਰੋਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ @barinder_goyal ਨੇ ਪੀ ਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਫਿਰਾਖ਼ਦਿਲੀ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰੀ, ਤੁਰੰਤ ₹25,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ, ₹60,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਦਾ ਬਕਾਏ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਸਿਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਮ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਹੈ।

He said, the State Govt had fortified embankments with an expenditure of over ₹200 crore, enabling them to withstand the heavy pressure of floodwaters. He said, none of the embankments constructed by the department along the Beas River suffered any breach. (2/2)

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਘੱਗਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਕਸਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਰੀਆਂ ਭਰਨ ਤੇ ਲੋੜ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਦਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਲਈ ਠੀਕਰੀ ਪਹਿਰੇ ਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਘੱਗਰ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਲਈ 5 ਰਾਹਤ ਕੈਂਪ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। (2/2)

Over 2000 people rescued in Ferozepur & 100+ evacuated in Fazilka. Relief camps functional, Admn teams, Army & NDRF on ground, informed Water Resources Minister @barinder_goyal, after reviewing operations in both the districts & assured timely aid to all affected.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਫਸਰਾਂ/ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਕਾਰਨ ਨੁਕਸਾਨੀਆਂ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲ ਜਾਨ-ਮਾਲ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ, ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਹਤ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। (2/2)
