I am soft launching ColiVara today 🧵
A state of the art retrieval API that is a web-first implementation of the ColiPali paper.
It works exactly like RAG from the end-user standpoint - but using vision models instead of chunking and text-processing for documents.

Good evening, TL.
I'm thrilled to share with you my opinion piece on the topic 'Antimicrobial Resistance in African slums' which was recently published on Global Health Unfiltered. The topic was inspired by Professor Folasade Ogunsola, Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos,..
Thank you for the opportunity @PyrlsApp! I hope this piece empowers clinicians to shift from the goal of a "perfect" trough for all, to a patient that truly would benefit from vancomycin TDM. #IDTwitter#TwitteRx#MedTwitter#IDXposts
The 2024 American Diabetes Association Standards of Care in Diabetes are here! ✨
We've updated our free chart and content throughout the @PyrlsApp reflect the latest in type 2 diabetes pharmacotherapy!
Okay this is officially the new most fun I've had with this.
NOTE: Experimental purposes only!
Made a bot that takes an image of a med list (NOTE: this is a dummy med list from google) and automatically:
1. Scrapes and makes a list of the medications it finds in the image
2. Lists potential drug interactions it sees between them
3. Lists potential renal and hepatic dosing considerations amongst the meds it sees
To be clear, it's very poorly tuned right now and how well tuned it ultimately could be is in question but super interesting glimpse to what could be...
Also fun that I can use it on my ChatGPT phone app with images from camera.

@ConanMacDougall@KatherineGberg Likewise a little clunky revision-suggestion outputs (which I'll take the blame for 😅) so trying to keep workshopping the prompting on this to make the outputs practical to apply to my writing!
@ConanMacDougall@KatherineGberg Thanks so much for the inspiration!... Finally getting a chance to play around with this. Definitely think there's tons of promise in teaching and education—currently playing around with something to help improve medical writing... https://t.co/yKh1DmBJIk
Tirzepatide (ZEPBOUND) Approved for Chronic Weight Management in Adults with Obesity ✨
The FDA has approved Zepbound (tirzepatide) for chronic weight management in adults with obesity (BMI of 30 kg/ m2 or greater or overweight (BMI of 27 kg/m2 or greater) with at least one weight-related condition (such as HTN, T2DM or high cholesterol) for use, in addition to a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity.
Tirzepatide is already approved under the trade name Mounjaro for glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
@MedFactChecks@reverendofdoubt@PyrlsApp Yeah we sourced this pretty close to the 2016 guidelines and did add some footnotes to try to capture the existing and more recent nuance on double coverage and newer agents. Really appreciate your clinical practice perspectives!
