I miss my friends, a small certain group. But I don’t miss Orlando or the park one bit after seeing all the things that happened. I’m also glad I was able to spend the final years with my dad before he passed and I know that he enjoyed it too.

20 years at my job and I received recognition here and there for things I did. Just a paper or a small plaque. I received something yesterday with also an actual bonus check.

These images show the same area of sky in different infrared colors – one reveals a bulge of stars, the other is dense interstellar dust clouds. SPHEREx gives us multiple views of our universe in one telescope.

I now work in the aerospace industry where there are people trying to fix things and help others. I’m no engineer, but it makes me feel like I’m contributing to something.

I also feel more like I’ve grown up. My old job, well, everyone seems to live in this bubble and I guess maybe that’s the “theme park” life.
