I miss my friends, a small certain group. But I don’t miss Orlando or the park one bit after seeing all the things that happened. I’m also glad I was able to spend the final years with my dad before he passed and I know that he enjoyed it too.
I didn’t even know what to say. I wasn’t trying to do anything extra. Just trying to help where I could so everything would go smooth and no issues happened. I think I made the right decision.
20 years at my job and I received recognition here and there for things I did. Just a paper or a small plaque. I received something yesterday with also an actual bonus check.
The Near-Earth Object (NEO) Surveyor mission — our future eye on the skies for finding potentially hazardous asteroids — is coming together! The sunshade seen here will protect NEO Surveyor's telescope and sensitive infrared detectors.

This footage from inside the eye of Category 5 Hurricane Melissa might be the most jaw-dropping video ever captured of a hurricane’s eye, showcasing the infamous “stadium effect."
NEO Surveyor is getting ready for a roadtrip!
Cruising toward its late-2027 launch, the asteroid hunter's next stop is the Space Dynamics Laboratory in Logan, Utah, where its instrument enclosure (seen being lifted here) will be joined with the telescope. #DetectToProtect
The universe has layers and SPHEREx is showing us 102 of them. ✨
These images show the same area of sky in different infrared colors – one reveals a bulge of stars, the other is dense interstellar dust clouds. SPHEREx gives us multiple views of our universe in one telescope.
So that was interesting. A car just got put out after being on fire next to us and a guy also ran past us while stopped also on the interstate in blood possibly fleeing from the cops and firemen from something else?
I now work in the aerospace industry where there are people trying to fix things and help others. I’m no engineer, but it makes me feel like I’m contributing to something.
