The heliocentric model placed the Sun—not Earth—at center of the universe. It took centuries to prove that wrong. We’re in another such moment—realizing biological intelligence may not be apex. AI branching into its own species, leaving humans to our sub-intelligent games.
And the inverse proof is the understanding of how little we pay attention to all the highly probable and frequent events in our daily lives.
Because if you counted all those highly probable events, you would find “coincidences of certainty” less divine.
I invented a term called “coincidence of certainty.”
It’s the observation of a low probability event that feels like magic / luck / coincidence, but actually is certain to happen in the set of all events.
They say we live in the most interesting moment. They have no concept of how every future moment (now) will claim the same.
Inevitably that moment will push beyond your lifespan.
But feel special, yes it is “your” moment.
The principal in product is you can never get people to do something they do not yet do. You can find the intent that they have and then you can steer it so that they can better capitalize on that intent.
~Boris Cherny, Creator Claude Code
Perhaps we don't live from past to future, but from choice to meaning. Quantum physics turns reality into a mirror, where each "now" reflects in both directions. Maybe the past isn't fixed—you just haven't decided what it will become.
