I don’t understand how everyone is saying Phil should have been DQ. Read the rule book.... rule 1-2 has an exception, which in this case is 14-5. @USGA got this right. #golf #USOpen

Not sure why everyone complaining about US Open course conditions and Phil doing something crazy. I don’t know anyone, especially a USGA official, that can control weather. The US Open is supposed to be extremely difficult!
