1/4 Becoming a "senior" developer in a programming language means first learning the workarounds for the limitations in that language, then learning the costs to those workarounds thus when the workaround is worse.

An alternative it to sit and think through what you want to do carefully so you don't get anything wrong. Do this until you forget what problem was in the first place and realize there is actually no purpose to anything anyways.
