My first AI video creation.
What do y’all think?
Have you ever had to split a bill with friends? Or contribute towards an expense, but had to deal with how to manage the funds?
I built “WeSplit”, a group expense splitting app where friend groups track shared costs and settles debts in USDC on Base.
No banks involved, no “have you sent the money” follow-ups.
Here’s how it works:
- Create a Secure wallet by @OpenWallet
- Buy USDC instantly with @moonpay
- Create a group, add expenses and WeSplit calculates who owes what instantly.
- Debts settles instantly.
Built in 24hours for the @OpenWallet Hackathon.

When the Line Bent - A Soldier's Evening.
We were used to going out to look for trouble, not waiting for it to find us.
Our SOF squad wasn’t just clout. Even a handful of us is as deadly as the main group.
A detachment was stationed in Damboa to boost their defense. Four months in theatre, two weeks in Damboa, and then they decided to test us.
The heat that day was heavy. The sun was slowly dropping, finally giving the earth a bit of relief from the scorching burn that had lasted for weeks.
Then the radio came alive. It's not the usual routine check nor the calm voice of duty officers or SNCOs.
This one was desperate, like calling every brother to arms:
“Red alert! Red alert!”
Enemy rapid gunfire followed immediately.
At that moment, nobody waited for instructions. You grabbed whatever you could and dashed toward the fire, not away from it.
By the time we reached the line, the enemy had breached the first defenses. They had numbers on their side, but they didn’t know what was coming...... we were
We saw them first. We fire first, not chaotically, but with tactics, using all available cover, with the ground giving every advantage it could.
We split ourselves. One group engaged them head-on, holding their attention, while the main group moved to cut off any intended retreat through the main gate.
“Who price, must pay,” was our motto.
As the main group flanked from the right, they realized too late.
We used RPGs carefully on their vehicles, cutting off escape. The rest scattered on foot.
It ended quickly, and the noise faded. We checked each other, checked positions, and secured what they had left behind: weapons, vehicles, anything useful.
There was no cheering, no euphoria..... Just relief.
Nigeria survived yet another day.
