It is Day Three, and I am walking through the night beneath thunderstorms and small pebbles of hail.

Still, I am in good spirits.

This has already been quite the adventure, and it has only been three days. Walking gives you a lot of time to think. About what truly matters. About how deeply you love the people around you. About how quickly everything can disappear.

People. Homes. Entire places filled with memories.

How much russia can take away with a single aerial bomb.

I am walking along this road while my home city is being destroyed, while the people of Kyiv are being attacked, and while my soldiers remain in positions that can disappear in an instant.

This is going to be a long road. I can already feel that I am going to work through a lot along the way. But I am grateful for every person walking beside me from afar. Everyone following, sharing, donating, and helping keep the voices of my men alive.

Hundreds of men depend on people like you and me to remind the world that they are still there.

Our positions have been destroyed, and we urgently need help rebuilding them before the next unit is sent out.

Today is a tragic anniversary.

And another reminder that russia's war against Ukraine did not begin on February 24, 2022.

On July 11, 2014, russian forces launched a massive Grad rocket attack from russian territory on Ukrainian positions near Zelenopillia.

It was one of the first direct acts of russian military aggression against Ukraine. Thirty-six Ukrainian soldiers and six border guards were killed. Around 100 more were wounded.

The Kremlin lied. The world hesitated. Ukrainians paid with their lives.

Remember Zelenopillia.

Eternal glory to Ukraine's fallen defenders.
