Food Security in this country = Maize. Smh.
I think many Kenyans would agree that food security comes in the form of money in their pockets and not maize in some farm in Narok or Uasin Gishu.
I like progress. I just wonder when I see people posting these pictures of a couple of cabro footpaths in the CBD and celebrating them as though this is one of the greatest achievements our capital has ever seen. Is this really what we are celebrating after Denzel’s four years in office?
Nairobi is not two cabro footpaths in the CBD. Nairobi is an entire capital city. It has regressed into a filthy, chaotic slum where even areas that were once considered posh now resemble ugly concrete jungles. Garbage is everywhere, vibandas have taken over, drainage is virtually non-existent, our green spaces have disappeared, countless trees have been chopped down, raw sewage flows openly, and many places literally stink.
The 527/- gang, I understand, they are simply doing what they have to do to put food on the table. What genuinely astonishes me are the few others who post these pictures as though Nairobi has been transformed. Have they forgotten what the rest of the city looks like, or have our standards fallen so low that two paved footpaths are now considered world-class? Do these guys come from such horrible places that they celebrate this mediocrity or is it lack of exposure?
Celebrate progress, yes. Let’s not confuse cosmetic improvements with the transformation of an entire capital city. Nairobi deserves far better.

Today I stand vindicated on the Ruaraka land saga after 8 years of being dragged to court, arrested, abused, threatened and painted as reckless for publishing what powerful people did not want Kenyans to discuss openly.
The Court of Appeal has now confirmed what we said from the beginning, that the land occupied by Drive In Primary School and Ruaraka High School was public land, and that the government had no legal basis to compulsorily acquire land it already owned.
The same Sh1.5 billion payment that some people wanted us to treat as normal government business has now been declared illegal, null and void, and the fresh attempt to squeeze another Sh1.769 billion from taxpayers has been thrown out completely.
When I exposed this matter, they did not answer the facts, they ran to court, used police, tried to intimidate me and hoped that fear would bury the truth, but time has once again proved that journalism is not a crime when it exposes theft of public resources.
Those who mocked, prosecuted, harassed and lectured me should now read the judgment slowly, because the courts have confirmed that taxpayers were made to pay for land that already belonged to the public.
Now this case against me must be dismissed
A viral video captures the dramatic arrest of a Kenyan woman and her friends at Tatu City after she filmed security personnel and police officers whom she accused of harassing them. The forceful arrest has sparked widespread public debate online regarding civilian recording rights and police conduct.

Prevention of Terrorism Act POTA is being used against innocent persons. Moses Munuve @paramos_manuver was arrested by @DCI_Kenya & ATPU for posting flight ✈️ path data from @flightradar24 pertaining to President Ruto’s trips in Europe. He’ll be arraigned in Kahawa Law Courts 6/7
Murkomen should explain to Kenyans why armed goons are openly operating alongside police officers without being arrested. You have repeatedly claimed these groups are organised and funded by the opposition. If that were true, why are they enjoying protection instead of prosecution?
The images and videos circulating have raised serious questions that demand answers. Kenyans deserve to know who these individuals are, who is facilitating their operations, and why the law appears to apply selectively.
A government that tolerates criminal gangs while turning its coercive power against peaceful citizens undermines public confidence in the rule of law.
This is the gimmick. We saw it with Moi in the 90s. Back then it was carjackings and bank robberies both of which are basically unheard of today. King'ori Mwangi was the mastermind of that.
You are supposed to do exactly this: Demand the police intervene. And by doing so become an actual activist for a police state.
There were 6 goons there. Why did the first vehicles stop? FLOOR IT!
Why did the 4000 people there sit down and twiddle their thumbs? FIGHT BACK!
Raila Odinga famously declared ‘Kibaki Tosha’ in October 2002, just three months before the general elections. Ruto is so desperate for the opposition to name its main candidate early. He wants to identify early who to bribe and who to kill so that he can destroy the opposition.

Streisand effect: When you try to hide something, the more you invoke public curiosity.
Me I have a question. Two questions actually.
1. This aircraft in question is privately registered in San Marino. Why was she arrested? It’s not even Kenyan.
2. Everything on private planes is public record https://t.co/5jXTDb3Bwd So???
They killed Albert Ojwang' and now they have killed Cecil Otieno.
Not in a police cell, but inside the vehicle of a PS.
It's time we make the lives of these oppressors uncomfortable.
