For years, Kenya has witnessed deadly school fires and preventable tragedies linked to overcrowding, poor emergency preparedness, and ignored safety concerns yet we do nothing.
Our children deserve safe spaces to learn and rest, not death traps. This latest school fire must be the last one. Those who, through omission or commission, contributed to the deaths of these 16 children must be held criminally responsible.
