My book on Manning Publications to learn Rust has just gone live! https://t.co/50mhiJ6JJU For those who don't know, I work as a Rust developer here in Korea. Just a few years ago Rust was a niche language just starting to make a name for itself, and now it's everywhere.
@JayinKyiv Second round for the presidential election there takes place in just four days, if Gyurov wins he'll be a counterweight against Radev: https://t.co/itkQofndyP
@NOELreports More limited yes but the president's powers are much more important during times like these. e.g. appointing ambassadors and convening the security council.
During peacetime those are basically just decorative but now they actually mean something.
@JankoMrtni@EuropeElects Yes because the participation rate for the first round was abysmal. Lots of people thought it would just be the first step to a coronation for Yotova.
@JayinKyiv Check out the Bulgarian polls too, Gyurov is showing more strength than the polls did. (Will go to a second round with him and Yotova of course, that part is no different)
@LanciaJordana3@JayinKyiv Alberta (my home province) is thankfully pretty easy, it just wants to produce and export energy of all kinds. The government is reducing red tape for major projects so not much to hate.
@SurrealDB Agent Memory is out! I've made quite a few demos showing how it works.
The absolute least effort demo is this game https://t.co/IL0NGkC13P that you can open up in a tab in the browser to explore the city of Calgary in the early 1900s and build up memory as you go.
Memory or accuracy? Yes.
SurrealDB Agent Memory: memory for AI agents, every fact with its source.
77.2% on BEAM, the 1M-token memory benchmark. 57.1% strict, every rubric item met in full. No other vendor we checked publishes that.

Stop choosing.
@JayinKyiv Obligatory reminder that the pro-EU candidate Gyurov is in the presidential election on the 25th and will be a counterweight (or a "corrective", as Bulgarians like to call it) against Radev if he wins.

@DeLaNope Thank you! Rust was the right choice for me in 2019 when I discovered it and I continue to work with it even today. (So glad that it took off, seven years ago nobody knew for sure)

@Basebollligan@JayinKyiv There's also a bit of a 'midterm' in Bulgaria on the 25th when they have the presidential election. The president doesn't have much political power but can veto bills, appoints ambassadors, etc. Gyurov is the EU/NATO guy, could win though currently is in second place at 26%.
SurrealDB 3.1 is here and builds on the foundations of 3.0, with a focus on stability, a second approximate-nearest-neighbour vector index in DiskANN, GraphQL upgrades, and significant security hardening.

Working with sprawling unstructured data and want to query it in structured form? @mithridates shows how to bring historical texts to life by using LLMs to modify the text for storing and querying in SurrealDB as knowledge graphs. 👉 https://t.co/HSw37mUvti
A schema defines your database’s structure and rules. Early definition ensures consistent data storage, linking, and behaviour throughout your project. Some tips from our own @mithridates show you how to design one that works for you. 👉 https://t.co/e0VdKfhvwu
