A year ago this warning was issued.

“Don’t vote for this guy. Mark Carney is the most elite of elitists out there. He’s not a man of the people at all. He’s the ultimate elitist.”

Then the message got even more direct:

The standard of living in Canada has imploded.
Jobs are almost all public sector. Almost no real private sector growth or self-employment opportunities.
OECD predicted Canada would have the worst performing economy of all 36 developed countries through 2030.

And the closer:
“The country needs a reboot. It’s time to turn your country around. It’s time to make Canada great again.”

That was April 2025.

Today we’re sitting in the exact mess he described — only deeper.

Carney didn’t fix anything. He just changed the slogans while the same people who broke it stayed in charge.

This wasn’t some random rant.
It was a clear-eyed diagnosis of what happens when you hand the keys to a globalist banker who never had to live under the policies he pushes on everyone else.

The country still needs that reboot.

After suffering the longest and most aggressively prosecuted mischief trial in Canadian history, Tamara Lich (@LichTamara) is now suing the police and Crown for malicious prosecution and negligent investigation.

She was found guilty of mischief for her role in the 2022 Freedom Convoy in Ottawa and given an 18-month conditional sentence including 100 hrs of community service and 12 months of house arrest, followed by 6 months of curfew.

A condition of her pretrial release was zero contact with other convoy organizers, although she had been granted permission to attend an award ceremony where other organizers would be, provided she was in the company of her lawyer (which she was).

Despite this, a photo was taken at the event of her with another convoy organizer which brought about an immediate Canada-wide warrant for breaching bail conditions. She was quickly arrested and transported back to Ottawa where she was held without bail until her trial.

Tamara Lich had no prior criminal history and consistently promoted peaceful assembly throughout the convoy protest; a fact acknowledged by the courts.

By pursuing maximum penalties against non-violent organizers like herself and Chris Barber, while typical mischief cases result in far less, authorities have effectively weaponized the justice system to chill dissent.

Compare this to countless recent reports of repeat violent offenders being released with a slap on the wrist and it’s easy to see that she was being made an example of.

“This isn’t just about me,” Lich stated. “It’s about stopping this kind of abuse so no Canadian ever faces it again.” Her lawsuit seeks to reaffirm that the Charter stands above all, protecting peaceful protest, fair process, and equal application of the rule of law.

Our Charter is not ambiguous on these matters. If we do not correct the actions of our government and judiciary now, and demand accountability, those willing will continue their efforts to suppress our rights and freedoms.

I’m done with so many arrogant liberal influencers who sit in central Canada & think they have the right to tell Albertans how we should feel, call us traitors for telling you we’re done, and think you know how many of us are actually feeling done. I don’t remember a time that Alberta hasn’t been frustrated by how central Canada treats us, we’re disrespected, & our concerns are dismissed at every turn by many in central Canada & the federal government. We feel used & abused. When we express our frustrations, we get told to shut up & sit down. I don’t remember Quebec getting treated like that, in fact Canadians begged them to stay & gave them special status within the federation. As a fourth generation Canadian & a third generation Albertan, I’m telling central Canada, dismiss us, & the separation movement at your peril. You think you know, but you really don’t. Many of you, maybe most have never set foot in Alberta, & have never bothered to know anything about this province & our unique western heritage. I’ve never been in favour of separation…. until now.
