—Michael likes to watch the life leave your eyes before he delivers the killing blow, he likes watching people squirm under his boot like a mouse under the paw of a cat.

Jason is still enraged even after he kills you, trying his best to get rid of the cold bitter hate he has—

— it's visually clear that Michael takes enjoyment out of what he does, and he knows what he's doing, and he LOVES IT. Jason's vengeance is misguided, Michael just likes hurting people.

There's usually a long pause before Michael kills you many examples in the DGG trilogy—

—how he kills people. He's creative, 100% and uses the environment around him, he's essentially a angry, raging tornado with wits.

Michael is a lot more patient than Jason is, he's more of an artist than a powerhouse, more like an unseen plague that cannot be stopped—

There's one distinct aspect between Jason and Michael's killing style, Jason does watch from the shadows, but not nearly as long as Michael does, especially later on when he becomes a revenant/anti-life he's a lot more brutal and impatient, there's no joy, or any real care in—
