But I’m thankful for accountability.
The work continues.
Justice is a continuum.
And America must bend with the moral arc of the universe, which bends toward justice.
Integrity is holding ourselves to the same high standards that we have for others.
Expecting little of everyone is apathy.
Expecting less of ourselves than others sets us up for hypocrisy.
Expecting less of others than ourselves falls short of accountability.
One of my favorite ways to incorporate a little math history is to anonymize my students on @Desmos and then have them google the name when they ask me who they are. Yesterday a student made a connection between themself and one of the originals. 💕
