$ocgn Let me try to help you visualize my reasoning and where my 'Deja vu' comes from, and why I’ve been posting about it for the last year.
Previously, when Ocugen exhausted both of their 180-day extensions and was approaching the deadline for compliance, they announced a deal with Bharat Biotech. The stock jumped from cents to over a dollar, regaining compliance. It then hovered for a while until a definitive partnership agreement with Bharat Biotech was announced. The stock then quickly rocketed to $5+ that week and then soared to $15 after a significant investment took place over the weekend.
Having witnessed this all firsthand, I then saw a company, now with more products, the same management incentives/company structure that I loved before, bleeding to cents again having to announce another two 180-day extensions. I saw déjà vu.
Once again, after these two 180-day extensions and bleeding down to cents, Ocugen's stock was out of compliance and approaching that deadline. We then saw good trial results with an announcement of another partnership(this time with big pharma) and Ocgn secured their compliance with this news
Based on history’s past, I believe the next steps here will be PR of this big pharma partnership finalizing with details leading to a significant rise in stock price. This should then be quickly followed by an announcement of a significant investment, propelling Ocugen to new heights. This time though, Ocugen isn’t relying on anyone else, at least for the US/EU markets, and with the cash runway to get us to revenue we shouldn’t see the bleed we did last time.
So my thought process over the last year: the same company, more cards to play, in the same position as before, needing compliance, gaining compliance and has a partnership finalizing. Half of it has played out, stay tuned for the next half. 😉🍻🚀
