I’ve now received over 200 messages filled with ideas & scripts. It feels both incredible to see so much talent and potential but also sad that I can’t possibly apply for the fund with all of you. And I truly hope that 200:1 is not the actual ratio of directors to producers…

@JackCuthbert Yeah it’s very possible and I’m sure producers that have gotten BFI funding previously are swamped with even more messages atm

@paultanter I also get a lot of co-producer requests which is even less appealing. It’s usually a writer/producer team that co-wrote the short and co-writer wants a producer credit but has no track record so they need someone to basically do all the admin for them.
