@AlecMacGillis @JonHaidt My son’s school (private) started this year mandating that cellphones must be kept in backpacks. At lunch they actually talk to each other, and attention spans have improved. The kids were NOT fans the first couple of months, but end of year survey showed 70% approval.

That's not even one high school here. I'm glad you live in the land of excellent education. I'll continue to work in ed in OK.

It will be interesting to find out as my home state starts a tax credit for private schools in 2024.

@Cbaum95 @John20122107820 @piper4missouri But because we work in Ed, I have tons of friends who work in Ed. Public school teachers cannot discipline students beyond sending them to the office. The office sends them back to the classroom with a write up. How would students raised in that environment (and their parents)
