SF died for awhile because Zero was literal dogshit and on a console that most people didn't even bother, along with that the series only ever gets new entries to either show off some tech or the IP was slapped onto a random project(SF Adventures).

@dfaso0 The likely official reason is show how utterly hopeless the situation was for Krillin. But my headcanon is that a section of Semi-Perfect Cell tail is incredibly tight for A18 to get through, hence why her absorption took much slower than A17...(1/2)
