After reading the CBC news article about the increase of domestic violence after the decrease in the economy is something that is tragic and unfortunately true. Although the economy is lower this shouldn't give anyone the right to take things out on other people. #gndr1000

I enjoyed doing the exercise where we had to plan out only working 32 hours a week with a minimum wage job and accounting for bills, groceries and 2 children. This was very eye-opening because this is the reality for many people. #gndr1000

After watching several TedTalks, I've realized that people who are disabled deal with other issues along with their medical illnesses. Things such as sexuality, gender and race also play a difficult role for them. #gndr1000
