@yorkiesteve52@DanNeidle@LoftusSteve Imagine asking Dan Neidle if he has a better plan on tax policy 😂😂
Aye he’s probably thought about it once or twice what with being a famous tax expert.
@AllisonPearson Pensions are the single biggest line item in the budget and the triple lock is literally a mechanism that ensures its growth outstrips the growth of the economy that pays for it. It is madness to keep it.
@JNavok Agree with all of this, with the caveat that, whilst the people responsible for strategic missteps are largely gone, MS retains a duty of care (which I think it’s largely performing, given the mgmt buyouts rather than straight closures).
@BBCScotlandNews City centre is a shithole. Hard to traverse now. Argyll st now dug up. Sexual assaults spiking. Open drug dealing on St Enochs sq. George sq closed for months. Shops shut everywhere. Taxis a nightmare. Scotrail immensely unreliable.
The city needs an intervention, frankly.
@RobertJenrick There’s many pathetic things about the left but perhaps the most is the childish reflex to legislate opposition views out of existence as “misinformation”.
@AlexNeilSNP You simply have not made the case to enough people and there isn’t a constitutional wheeze to force the issue. Get better arguments. Take on the weaknesses of your case directly. Have some introspection on your performance as a party over 20 years in government.
@joe_yer99 We are a morass of red tape, regulations, inertia, special interests and petty mindedness. Not us (Glasgow) especially, but UK wide. If it doesn’t occur spontaneously, no one is deliberately bringing it about.
@thisisgoradio Another derelict city center site. I look forward to seeing tentative signs of progress by the time my grandchildren come along. Unless I’m stabbed by one of our city’s many new guests in the meantime, of course!
@PaulJSweeney What is it about the current incarnation of Glasgow CC that gives you the confidence to *increase* their blast radius? They’ve driven the city to its knees.
