@dhh@jdx My favourite feature is by far the `idiomatic_version_file_enable_tools`, it allows mise to work with files from other package managers like .nvmrc, .python-version. Which enables maximum flexibility.
Also use mise-action in github actions, it's extremely fast!
gf: i wanna watch the new Dexter on my laptop ๐ซ
me: ok she watched it before, it's only available on Showtime
so *take her laptop* *opens showtime*
try login, no login in password manager ofc, cause signed up on Apple TV last time, so didn't save any password
ok forget password
forget password doesn't arrive
*waiting 5 minutes*
ok it arrived
log in, change password, save password in password manager
finally inside Showtime
"Not currently available in your region", ok we're in Italy, fine I'll VPN back to Portgual that should work
gf: it's okay i don't need to watch it anymore ๐คทโโ๏ธ
me: you don't understand, we don't give up here ๐คก
she has Mullvad VPN installed, ok no credits, let's top up Mullvad credits
Mullvad asks for CAPTCHA, select 4 bicycles in this grid, ok i guess that looks like a bicycle
Enter CC details
2FA approve credit card payment with Revolut
Open Revolut app, authorize payment
No credits show up in Mullvad app, TOP UP or RESTORE PURCHASE, nothing shows up in Mullvad dashboard
Check Revolut, payment is deducted from Revolut
It's now 30 minutes later still no Dexter
Fuck it I'll just go back to torrenting ๐บ๐บ๐บ
@levelsio Most new builds in NL now have a Heat Recovery system, which is efficient ventilation with supply to every room.
But heating and cooling happen with in floor pipes. Very comfortable with concrete houses due to high mass. Quite stable temperature year round.
@anton_grahn@spillzathon@SawyerMerritt But their alternative is still the 99 a month subscription. This outright purchase is simply not worth it now.
I do think however Tesla is going to increase the price significantly once it becomes unsupervised
@Quiark@ybouane@levelsio I donโt think you understand the point. Multiple layers of security reduce this risk. There is a lower chance all your layers are compromised at once, therefore itโs more secure.
@levelsio I think it's called the swiss cheese security model, nothing is perfect, but more layers you have, the less likely the holes are lining up ;)
@DanielLockyer What is the biggest difference you notice between iTerm2 and Ghostty? Or were you using something else, just curious why people are exited about this one
