@shoomoz I just saw u noting u prefer physical books thats totally understandable but its good to know for others that may read this thread that they can indeed find those two crucial books which have an irreplaceable degree of sophistication and detail in their analysis.
@underdejahvu@AvawaveMaoism I think the answer to all this is no and that violence doesnt change the class character of anything except for the fact that proletarian dictatorship is characterized by a short period of revolutionary violence and bourgeois rule by cold long terror
@underdejahvu@AvawaveMaoism Can a proletarian uprising become a counter-revolution if it crosses a line and becomes too violent? Conversely, is a peaceful bourgeois protest potentially more revolutionary than if they were violent?
@RagingFlood2023@15992965830Zhi Yes, They represent the first rol and ilps aligns with them because it chose not to take a position on any such matters. Its arguably a form of opportunism although im sure they’d explain it differently.
@RagingFlood2023 I support the worker and i personally dont think either side is fundamentally “puerile and pedantic.” I see it as a serious split. Idk what country you are from. As an american, im well aware our movement is young and relatively weak, but its divisions are still serious and real
@Peru67Official i dont think its correct to say that the national struggle of Iran against imperialism is captured by the military and political struggle of present state. There’s overlap but what i would really support is popular iranian resistance to america directly. Not via islamic republic
This has a really bad analysis of Iran that is nonsensical. The inclusion of iran being considered a state of the gulf or not is irrelevant. And there’s a clear difference between the way gonzalo expressed his temporary support for iraq, and the unreserved support for the *state*
@Peru67Official Dont see what in my criticism is unclear or violates that principle. It doesnt mean you extend that support directly to the state. Even in relation to the war. Let alone in relation to protests. Whether or not they are hijacked. Ur free to disagree and argue against this
@Peru67Official Do we have to openly support repressing those protests to support iran’s struggle against america and israel? Im not understanding the necessary connection
@Peru67Official@twolinestruggle I dont actually know whether it exists, but i am discussing the situation as if it does not. It’s not my job to assert its existence. I was hoping to have a conversation where i state that the worker is explaining why its not responsible for what some see as crcpusa liquidation..
@Peru67Official Ok? They made it clear in a separate editorial. I was giving my critique of the article i read. Im sorry if it has incorrect aspects. Thanks for sharing this
@A2_marxism@tovarischrex Wrong his critiques are on political economy but his views arent revisionist in any way they are distinct from Stalin but not always in disagreement
And on a controversial body of work by stalin on economics anyways (though i think it was good, stalin’s)
Ve o uğraş,
Atlatamadığım bir hızla,
Gözbebeklerinden öpüp
Yüreklerini yanıma bırakarak gittiler…
Ve kırlara ÇİÇEK,
Dağlara DOĞAN,
Göklere BULUT oldular!
Yağmur misali aktı toprağa BULUT,
Ekilen tohumlar ÇİÇEKlendi.
Ve her gün bir yenisi
Doğuyor, doğacak…
Karadeniz'in rahminde!
