"The chairman of Ishielu LGA of Ebonyi State, Ifeoma Agwu chased NDC members from the LGA who gathered to participate in the party's primary election today. She said she received an order from above not to allow NDC carry out primary election exercise anyehere in the LGA.

This woman became a council chairman in sympathy of her husband who died in a ghastly road accident on his way from Abakaliki to Eziulo on Christmas Day in 2023. He died a government appointee. This was how this lady became the council chairman of Ishielu. Why did I go down memory lane? It's so she remembers the circumstance through which she became chairman and not allow herself be used to distort democratic process in her LGA. Of all the LGAs, she's the one used. A known journalist who was a vice chairman of NUJ in Ebonyi State was beaten black and blue by thugs working for this woman this year. She has to detour and emulate the virtue of friendliness and tranquility her husband lived. Reprisal won't care she's a woman. She should respect herself.

This was exactly what the Ebonyi State Government planned against the PDP governorship primary election three days ago, but the number of security men on ground made them to withdraw. They now vented the anger upon NDC. The Ebonyi State Government has blown the first salvo of violence, but they should have boundaries. Don't take it to PDP; you'll be stung with sorrowful resistance. Just try it and see for yourself. You'll swear never to look for violence again. Allow democracy prosper in Ebonyi. The state isn't a private estate."

young man known as AJIBARE OLUSEGUN has been arrested in his home since last week by some government officers. He was accused of talking on the corruption thats ongoing in APC on his Facebook account - AJIBARE TALKS.

It has been said that he would be detained by Kwara Govt. till 10th June before any hearing on his matter.

His mother is not feeling too well, the young man is just barely making ends meet.
