The UK company has formally proposed co-developing a 120 kN engine entirely in India with full technology transfer and complete IP ownership for India.

And the UK government is backing it. 👇

• 120 kN engine designed specifically for AMCA Mk2 and future fighter variants
• Dedicated design complex and manufacturing hub to be built on Indian soil
• Full IP ownership vests with India, not shared or licensed
• Rolls-Royce plans to scale R&D team to support the programme at scale
• Additional turbofan variant offered for civilian and transport aircraft applications
• Direct competition with Safran's existing GTRE-Safran 120 kN proposal
• Rolls-Royce positioning India as a third major market after UK and US

India will not just buy engines anymore.

India will own the technology, the manufacturing capability and the ability to upgrade them forever.
