Pfaadt is coming off his 2 worst starts against Washington where he didn’t even record an out and let up 8 earned runs & then next game only went 3 innings vs the Braves giving up 5 earned runs.

Somehow he’s favored to go over his 16.5 PO line which is very telling that we expect Pfaadt to bounce back and get some early outs vs a team who swings at the first pitch 30.2% of the time.

Pfaadt has hit over this line in every game he started at home this season besides the nationals game but disregarding that games he’s averaging 18.2 outs at home.

The last 7 of 10 pitchers to face the mariners have been over this line as well as over the last 30 days the mariners rank 3rd worst in BA vs RHP(.227)

This may not mean much but Pfaadt has faced this mariners roster 2 times hitting both times and holds a .179 BAA vs them. This Dbacks bullpen could use some help to get some rest and Pfaadt should give it to them
