We make payments online all the time by clicking the "๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ผ๐" button, and then we get "๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐๐ณ๐๐น".
But have you ever thought about what happens behind the scenes after pressing "Pay Now"? ๐ณ
How does the payment get processed?
@pushpendraw Yes that's an important point. We should save the event ID and make sure the same event is not processed twice.
Thanks for pointing this out ๐

If the payment is successful:
โ The order is fulfilled
The ๐๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ confirms the payment on the backend instead of trusting only the success page.
I created a visual diagram showing this payment flow.

The customer is then redirected to Stripe Checkout:
โ Customer is redirected to Stripe Checkout
โ Stripe collects and processes the payment
โ Stripe sends a webhook to the backend
โ Backend verifies the webhook signature and payment status

The file goes to object storage, and the database keeps only its metadata and storage key.
I created this diagram to visualize the complete file upload flow from frontend to backend, storage, and database.

Have you ever thought about what happens behind the scenes when you ๐๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐ฎ ๐ณ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ in a full-stack application? ๐
It looks simple from the UI โ select a file, click upload, and itโs done.
But behind that single click, several things happen.

โ Backend returns a response to the frontend
โ UI displays the uploaded file
โข Thereโs also an error path if file validation or database operations fail.
โข ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐: the database doesn't need to store the actual file.
Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes when you request an OTP?
User โ Frontend โ Backend โ Generate & hash โ Redis โ Email/SMS โ Verify OTP โ Session/Token
Invalid OTP โ Verification fails โ Request again
