My commitment to Telangana statehood is not something that began recently.

In 2009, while leading the Yuva Rajyam youth wing of Praja Rajyam Party, I participated in the Telangana Samajika Nyaya Sabha alongside Osmania University student leaders and Gaddar Garu.

At a time when the Congress government led by the late YSR garu, was opposed to the formation of Telangana, I openly supported the aspirations of the Telangana people and gave a call for a “Samajika Telangana” a Telangana built on the foundations of social justice, self-respect, and equal opportunities for all sections of society.

My support for Telangana was never driven by political expediency. It was guided by conviction and a belief that the democratic aspirations of the people deserved recognition and respect.

The stand I took then reflects my unwavering commitment to Telangana and its people. My support for Telangana statehood was not a matter of politics, it was a matter of principle.

ఆడబిడ్డలను గౌరవించే సంస్కృతి మనది. స్త్రీమూర్తులను ఆరాధించే సమాజం మనది. ఇది మన సంప్రదాయం. మన భారతీయ జీవన విధానం. ముఖ్యంగా మన తెలుగు ప్రజల విషయానికి వస్తే ఆడబిడ్డను, అమ్మను ఎంతో ��దరణతో చూస్తాం. అలాంటి మన రాష్ట్రంలో రాజకీయ కక్షతో, మీడియా విశ్లేషణల పేరుతో నిస్సిగ్గుగా ఏకంగా మన తల్లులు, చెల్లెళ్లపై దారుణ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేయడం క్షమించరాని నేరం. వాళ్లు ఎప్పుడూ అనుసరించే ఈ విష సంస్కృతిపై తిరుగుబాటుగా గత ఎన్నికల్లో ప్రజలు తీర్పు ఇచ్చినా వారి వైఖరిలో మార్పు రాలేదనేది సుస్ఫష్టం. రాజధాని గురించి, ఆ ప్రాంత మహిళల వ్యక్తిత్వాలను అవమానించేలా వేశ్యలు అంటూ చేసిన దారుణ వ్��ాఖ్యలను ఉపేక్షించే ప్రసక్తే లేదు. రాజకీయ, మీడియా ముసుగులో జరుగుతున్న ఇటువంటి వికృత పోకడలను తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తున్నాను. తన సొంత మీడియా చానల్ ద్వారా జరిగిన ఈ దారుణాన్ని ఒక మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా ఉన్న వ్యక్తి ఇప్పటికీ ఖండించకపోవడం, స్త్రీ జాతికి క్షమాపణ చెప్పకపోవడం మరింత విచారకరం. రాజధానిపై విషం చిమ్మే కుట్రలో గట్టు దాటి మహిళల మనోభావాలను గాయపరచిన  వారిపై అత్యంత కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటాం. గత విధ్వంస ప్రభుత్వం పై రాజధాని మహిళల పోరాటాన్ని మనసులో పెట్టుకుని ఆ ప్రాంత మహిళలపై ఉద్దేశ్యపూర్వకంగా, నీచాతినీచంగా చేసిన ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు మొత్తం మహిళా సమాజాన్నే అవమానించడం. మహిళలను గౌరవించే, వారి ఆత్మగౌరవానికి అండగా నిలిచే కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం ఈ నీచ సంస్కృతికి చెక్ పెట్టే బాధ్యత తీసుకుంటుంది.
