@Alec_F_ Anyway I view the “vote harder” and “legislate harder” crowds as two sides of the same green lanternism coin. There is no one green lantern personality or action with magical problem solving superpowers. Sadly that doesnt fit into a tidy good vs bad narrative but that’s how it is
@Alec_F_ Hmm I can’t read minds but the article says more votes are “teed up”…anyway none of this happens in a vacuum, all the data shows voters prioritize inflation/economics over abortion, there’s a cost to focusing on other issues, despite peoples vibes about public opinion on choice
@Alec_F_ for the record i too am dissatisfied with the outcome, but i’ve never been under any illusion that there’s “one easy trick” that’s gonna produce an instantly gratifying policy outcome
@DC_BeerQueer I guess I’m where you’re at, still trying to make heads or tails, I probably won’t ever *not* support him but definitely my enthusiasm has ebbed
@DC_BeerQueer That is funny shit because my assessment of Obama vs biden is the opposite of yours. I am much more enthusiastic about Obama and defensive of his life as a private citizen, Biden right now I only tepidly support after thinking for a few months he was doing great
@DC_BeerQueer also is this in response to afghanistan? because i actually see biden making the right decision even if difficult - the generals have been openly undermining the idea of a withdrawal in interviews and leaks since trumps term
@AIPAC obviously you guys don’t know how to do politics and your donors should really clean house among the incompetents “working” there because they are actively hurting the cause 🙃
