@_amitbehere No bro, after MGR from 1987, there is change in govt. Every 5 years in TN except for 2016 when Jayalalitha won second time after 30 years…Also Though DMK did really well for growth, they fell short in few aspects like growing drug menace and bribes.
Savarkar's grandnephew has confessed in court that Savarkar not only begged for mercy from the British but also pleaded for a job in the British govt in the 1940s.
This is what he was doing when the rest of India, along with the Congress, was fighting the British through the Quit India Movement.
To call Savarkar a freedom fighter is the most shameful thing and an insult to the real freedom fighters.
His name is Mohammad Aamir Khan.
On the night of February 20, 1998, his mother asked him to buy medicines from a shop in Old Delhi. He was 18 years old.
He never made it to the shop.
Men in plain clothes stopped him on the street. He did not know they were police officers. They took him to an abandoned building. For seven days, he was held in illegal custody. He was tortured. He was forced to sign blank sheets of paper.
Then the Delhi Police Special Cell produced him in court and charged him with 19 counts of bombing across Delhi, Ghaziabad, Rohtak and Sonepat between December 1996 and October 1997.
He was presented to the media as a terrorist.
His family was never informed. They spent days searching police stations before finding out what had happened.
He spent 14 years in prison. Through torture. Through solitary confinement. He watched case after case fall apart in court as evidence was shown to be fabricated.
In 2012, he was acquitted in 17 of 19 cases. Two cases remain pending. He had already served more time in jail than the maximum sentence he could have received even if convicted on all charges.
He walked out of prison in January 2012.
His father had died while he was inside. His mother had suffered a stroke so severe she no longer recognised him when he walked through the door.
The National Human Rights Commission directed the Delhi government to pay him compensation.
The amount was Rs 5 lakh.
No officer from the Delhi Police Special Cell was charged. No one was suspended. No inquiry was ordered.
He wrote a book about what was done to him. He called it Framed As A Terrorist. My 14 Year Struggle To Prove My Innocence.
He now helps other wrongfully accused prisoners navigate the system that destroyed him.
India gave him Rs 5 lakh and called it justice.

Yesterday in Nirmal district,Pembi mandal around 12 acres of maize crop were completely burned to ashes due to an electric cable short circuit. what’s even more painful is the silence no response from ministers,no voice from the opposition and even the media has chosen to ignore it.
For those farmers, this is not just a loss of crop,it’s a loss of livelihood, months of hard work and hope 💔

Her name is Santhi Soundarajan.
Born in 1981 in Pudukkottai district Tamil Nadu. Her parents were Dalit brick kiln labourers earning the equivalent of Rs 300 a week. The family lived in a hut 20 feet long and 5 feet wide. No running water. No electricity. No bathroom.
She started running as a teenager because prize money from competitions helped feed her family.
12 international medals for India. 50 medals for Tamil Nadu.
In 2006 she stood on the track at the Asian Games in Doha Qatar. 45 countries. The biggest multisport stage outside the Olympics.
She crossed the finish line in 2 minutes 3.16 seconds.
Silver medal. First Tamil woman to win an Asian Games medal.
She lay on the track in disbelief.
She said this. It was the dream of my athletic career. The biggest thing was to win the Asian Games.
The next morning she was called in for tests. Nobody told her what they were for.
Days later it was announced on Indian national television that Santhi Soundarajan had failed a gender test.
She was stripped of the silver medal. Banned from athletics. Every achievement erased from the record.
She had androgen insensitivity syndrome. A condition she was born with. A condition she did not know she had.
She had never doubted being a woman for a single day of her life.
She returned to Tamil Nadu with no medal. No career. No explanation. She had not even been given a copy of the test report.
She attempted suicide.
She survived.
She spent years fighting for her medal to be returned. Nobody helped her. She filed RTIs. She wrote to courts. She petitioned the National Commission for Scheduled Castes.
The silver medal was never returned.
In 2016 she was given a permanent coaching job at Rs 30,000 a month. That was the government’s answer.
She gave India her life.
India gave her a coaching salary and silence.
Her name is Santhi Soundarajan.
Say it.

His name was Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar.
In 1930, he was 19 years old. A boy from Madras is boarding a ship to England on a scholarship to Cambridge.
During that sea voyage, he opened his notebook and started calculating.
By the time the ship docked in Southampton, he had worked out something no one in the history of science had understood before.
Stars do not simply fade and die. Stars above a certain mass collapse into themselves with such force that nothing can stop them. Not light. Not time. Not physics as anyone understood it.
What he had discovered on that ship would eventually be called black holes.
He arrived at Cambridge. He spent four years refining his calculations. He showed them to Arthur Eddington. The most famous astronomer in the world at that time. The man who had proven Einstein right.
Eddington watched his progress. Encouraged him. Asked him to present his findings at the Royal Astronomical Society in January 1935.
Then Eddington gave his own presentation immediately after.
He publicly ridiculed Chandrasekhar in front of the entire scientific establishment. He said the theory had no physical meaning. He called it absurd. He used his enormous reputation to crush a 24-year-old Indian student in front of everyone who mattered.
Chandrasekhar left that conference devastated.
He appealed to the president of the International Astronomical Union. He was told not to respond to Eddington publicly.
He left England.
He went to America. To the University of Chicago. He drove 150 miles every week to teach a class of just two students. Those two students were Tsung-Dao Lee and Chen-Ning Yang.
Both of them won the Nobel Prize before he did.
He spent 50 years working quietly. He never stopped.
In 1983, the Nobel Committee called.
53 years after he worked out the existence of black holes on a ship as a teenager, the Nobel Prize in Physics was his.
NASA later named its most powerful X-ray telescope after him.
The Chandra X-Ray Observatory.
The universe he described is real. Eddington was wrong. The boy on the boat was right.
Most Indians have never heard his name.
They should say it every day.

My personal OPINION:
Is a certain ideological section within the Brahmin community, esp. Kashmiri Brahmin community, influencing narratives that deepen Hindu - Muslim division in India through media?
Who are the creators and promoters of films like The Kashmir Files and Dhurandhar?
Many of the visible voices associated with such narratives appear to come from the Brahmin/Kashmiri Brahmin community.
From Vivek Agnihotri to Aditya Dhar, and from Anupam Kher to Aditya Raj Kaul, to many influential RW youtubers and several individuals who are vocal in media spaces appear to be from this background - per publicly available information.
I acknowledge and regret what happened to Kashmiri Pandits in the past. That history is real.
In my view , Traditional Manuwadi sections generally engage not through direct conflict and violence, but through shaping narratives.
There appears to be visible ideological alignment with BJP and Modi, even if there is occasional criticism on issues like reservations.
In my view.. narratives around Hindu - Muslim tensions often become a central tool in this ecosystem. This can range from social media forwards to mainstream films.
These narratives are usually framed within larger contexts like India - Pakistan issues and terrorism but it is likely that they influence perceptions about Indian Muslims, because audience can be emotionally driven.
To be clear, this is my personal interpretation based on observations of media trends, and not a statement about every individual or the entire community.
I do not believe all Kashmiri Brahmins think or act the same way... For ex, Jawaharlal Nehru, who I am a big fan of, had a very different worldview shaped by global exposure and progressive ideas.
My concern is that if such narratives continue unchecked, they may contribute to long - term hostility between two of the largest religious communities in India.

Voyager hits a wall of fire at the edge of our Solar System. 🔥
When Voyager 1 reached the edge of the Sun’s influence, it entered a region called the Heliopause—where the solar wind meets interstellar space.
🌌 What it found surprised scientists:
Instead of empty calm space, Voyager detected superheated plasma with temperatures estimated around 30,000–90,000°F (17,000–50,000°C).
🔥 But this isn’t like fire or a solid barrier.
It’s a thin, turbulent zone where particles from the Sun slow down and interact with the pressure of interstellar space, heating up as they compress.
❄️ Here’s the strange part:
Even at these extreme temperatures, it wouldn’t feel hot to a human. The region is so empty that there are too few particles to transfer heat—making it effectively harmless despite the high energy.
📡 As Voyager crossed this boundary, it observed:
• A sharp drop in solar particles
• A rise in Cosmic Rays
• Subtle plasma waves, helping scientists measure density and conditions for the first time
🛡️ This boundary is part of the heliosphere—a protective bubble that shields Earth from much of the galaxy’s harmful radiation.
📍 Now over 15 billion miles (24+ billion km) away, Voyager 1 continues to send data from interstellar space—the farthest human-made object ever.
✨ At the edge of our solar system, space isn’t empty or quiet…
it’s a dynamic, invisible frontier.
Well done Surya. Arshdeep could have just apologized but the captain defused the situation.
And Arshdeep shook hands as well at the end of the over.
Why have even the slightest sour note in what could be a historic win!
@FaberIndia Worst possible service for my hob…they have changed multiple part of the hob however we are still facing the gas leak issue with biggest burner, so unable to use it and using only 2 smaller ones…new service request no is CHE0102263226
The girls were taking harvested banana stalks in a minivan from Andhra Pradesh and got raped by constables in Tamilnadu.
Quite telling of our Women-Are-Goddess culture during Navaratri.
Richard Hadlee broke his head, Malcolm Marshall knocked out his teeth, Imran Khan knocked him unconscious, and Michael Holding sent him to hospital.
And yet Mohinder Amarnath got 3 centuries in Pakistan, 2 in the West Indies and 1 against Thommo in Australia.
In those days, batting against the frightening pace of Holding, Imran and the West Indians involved a bit more than just skill, it needed raw courage and Jimmy Amarnath had that in dollops.
Jimmy turns 75 today & India's first Man of the Match in a World Cup final certainly deserves much more acclaim and attention
